Hey!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Apple\u2019s amazing World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) starts next Monday June 2 \u00a0in San Francisco. \u00a0As a geek, it is truly an amazing week and the pinnacle pilgrimage for most of my Apple loving colleagues to attend.\u00a0 I am quite thankful to have been one of the lucky 5000 that attended the last three years and have thoroughly enjoyed the time with fellow developers, the terrific product introductions, the excellent sessions, and the delicious seafood and biking within the beautiful city of San Francisco! \u00a0 I have seen tremendous progress in developer tools. \u00a0I was there for\u00a0Steve&#8217;s last keynote and introduction of iCloud. \u00a0We\u00a0were there to see the introductions of iOS 5, iOS 6, iOS 7 and some of my favorite OS X updates including multi-touch gesture support, the fantastic magic trackpad, and AirPlay. \u00a0I even saw the Alex Skolnick Trio ditch real amps and jam thru\u00a0an\u00a0iPad in a nearby hotel lobby. \u00a0Yes, they were three fantastic years!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sadly, I will not be boarding a plane this weekend.\u00a0 I will not be biking the bridge and sniff sniff I will not be getting up at the crack of dawn this year to join the long line of fellow geeks eagerly waiting the infamous 10am Monday morning Keynote.\u00a0 I do vow to return next year but for next week I will be watching every move and every announcement from our office in Ohio.\u00a0 I will be sitting on the edge of my seat, streaming the live stream\u00a0 with much anticipation and excitement.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Because I hope (and if you know me, you know I have been ranting about this for almost 2 years) that in these 90 minutes of product announcement euphoria we will finally see my dreams of the new Apple TV, SDK, and App Store come to fruition. \u00a0 This is all of course in blunt ignorant defiance\u00a0of\u00a0the several recent rumors to the contrary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Here are the simple and rather modest specs of my dream machine!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Note this picture is from my 720p model and yes I know I need to dust!<a href=\"http:\/\/blackfrogguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/photo-1-768x1024.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-348\" src=\"http:\/\/blackfrogguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/photo-1-768x1024-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"photo-1-768x1024\" width=\"403\" height=\"538\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blackfrogguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/photo-1-768x1024-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/blackfrogguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/photo-1-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Introducing! \u00a0The 2014 AppleTV set top box &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design\u00a0&#8211; no change<\/li>\n<li>Memory &#8211;\u00a0\u00a032GB<\/li>\n<li>Processor &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0A7<\/li>\n<li>Runs iOS 8<\/li>\n<li>Proudly introducing the new App Store for AppleTV &#8211; finally play your latest candy crushing, zombie eating, farm animal game here!<\/li>\n<li>802.11ac (might as well update the Airport Express too or better yet just integrate it)<\/li>\n<li>Price &#8211; $99<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So there you have it. \u00a0I am not asking for too much! \u00a0Amazon has the Fire TV, Google is working on iteration x of y, and Roku yeah&#8230; \u00a0If you agree that this would be a splendid addition to Apple&#8217;s existing lineup, how about a RT, +1, shoutout, hell yeah, or whatever!<\/p>\n<p>For those heading to dub dub next week, enjoy a truly stellar week!
